Wow, that's some compliment coming from you, Chris. :-) Having high standards is not always easy I've found, but its definitely worth it. And yes, I do hope we can meet up someday.

Article Marketing will never go the way of FFA's (pardon me while I vomit) because HUMANS are in between the content submitted and content accepted... much in the same way that the big search engines deploy humans all over the planet to help with quality control.

Priya, I hope we get a chance to meet each other face to face some day. :-) I've been reading your blogs and articles for as long as I can remember being online.

You are a genuine asset to the web community because you lift the standards that others aspire to.

Thanks Steve for letting me know about the Captcha problem, although I'm not sure what I can do about it right away :-(

Chris, you make a very valid point, but I think that engines will ultimately wise up to spammy articles and give more weight to links from articles syndicated on quality sites like Chris Knight's own EzineArticles.com which, by the way, is the first place I submit my article to :-)

Writing articles for promotion is a great marketing tool -- no doubt about that. The problem is with people writing total junk and distributing it everywhere they can. It hurts the directories who have to sift through it all, it hurts the credibility of the writers and the products they promote, and it cheapens the whole idea of writing promotional articles. I worry that the spam and junk articles (along with PLR articles) will eventually sink article marketing to the level of FFA's.

I can't comment on the ebook being featured here - since I haven't read it - but certainly concur with the fact articles are a great way to promote a business.

For the first poster, who stated "I have already submitted six articles to many article directories" I would suggest he take a look at my free resource page for article directory sites - lots of indicators that should speed up his manual submissions (each site shows Google PR, submit and view page, type of directory, etc).

Just do a google search for:
article directories
and my site should be #1. :)

Good luck!
p.s. you graphic 'captcha' system on this page is really very bad, imo. I've tried posting 3 time (!!) and each time it gives me an error. (using Firefox - now trying IE to see if that works) :(

Hi Dr Nabil. Thanks for your feedback. It takes time for article marketing to work to build rankings to your blog. You should make sure your blog is optimized for the search engines so you article marketing campaign gets the best results for you.

You got me encouraged to go back on agressive article writing.
I have already submitted six articles to many article directories, I even paid the high fee for submityourarticle.com for wide distribution, 3 of them are indexed on the first and second page of google and my blog still lost in cyberspace.
